Barbless Montana Selection.
The original Montana fly variant was tied by Lew Oatman from New York. It was tied to give a general impression of a range of large stonefly nymphs. We have a selection of barbless Montanas, especially tied for year-round Stillwater fishing, ideally targeting rainbow trout, but fished deep in the summer months and you are equally as likely to pick up the odd brown trout. These flies are all tied on strong barbless size 10 & 12 hooks. This selection comes with 16 flies (4 different patterns, 2 of each sizes 10 and 12).

Golden Nugget Montana. Tied as a standard Green Montana, with the addition of a gold bead at the centre of the hook shank. This selection contains 2 each of sizes 10 and 12.
Green Montana. Tied with a black body, tail and semi-palmered hackle, with a lime green head. This selection contains 2 each of sizes 10 and 12.
Orange Montana. Tied with a black body, tail and semi-palmered hackle, with an orange head. This selection contains 2 each of sizes 10 and 12.
Yellow Montana. Tied with a black body, tail and semi-palmered hackle, with a yellow head. This selection contains 2 each of sizes 10 and 12.
