The Midge Selection from Barbless Flies, a selection of small flies (all size 18) with a modern twist on some established patterns. Our selection includes 4 dry fly patterns and 4 nymph patterns. These are ideal for fishing early mornings and mid-day, when the only flies hatching are small gnats. In total there are 16 flies supplied in our eco-friendly packaging. All of these flies are hand tied using barbless hooks, on strong size 18 hooks using quality materials. Once again, we do not charge anything for delivery, to anywhere in the world.

Tufted Zebra Nymph - A firm favourite in the USA where it is the "go to" fly when all else fails for those picky fish. We supply 2 of these, both size 18. Weight = 0.040g
Knotted Midge - What a stunning fly this is, imitates all midge/gnats, and is deadly in the midday sun, with its flash body wrap. We supply 2 of these, both size 18.
Zebra Nymph - The same fly as above but without the flash tufts, for a slimmer profile and quicker sink rate. Another firm favourite in the USA where it is the "go to" fly when all else fails for those picky fish. We supply 2 of these, both size 18. Weight = 0.045g
Griffiths Sparkle Gnat - A staple in the river anglers fly box. This pattern takes fish all year round in all weathers. We supply 2 of these, both size 18.
Black Micro Midge - A small bead-headed black midge pupae imitation, with a small amount of flash on the abdomen and a copper wire wrap. We supply 2 of these, both size 18. Weight = 0.045g
Sparkle Arsed Indicator Gnat - A small black midge dry fly imitation, with a bright pink post and a sparkle tail/arse. We supply 2 of these, both size 18.
Olive Micro Midge - A small bead-headed olive midge pupae imitation, with a small amount of flash on the abdomen and a copper wire wrap. We supply 2 of these, both size 18. Weight = 0.046g
Poly-winged Black Gnat - Another small black midge dry fly imitation, with a white poly post. We supply 2 of these, both size 18.
