The CdC Hatchmaster, originally known as the Two-Feather Fly, it was created by Harry Darbee (USA) to solve a problem of getting a large artificial fly to land on the water gently. A very elegant (and simple) fly, but really effective when you have to be stealthy! Tied with a single feather to create the tail and body with the fibres pulled backwards and tied down.
Our version has a golden olive CdC feather body, with an olive thorax and dark CdC wing post.
The CdC Hatchmaster is available in three different sizes (14, 16 & 18).
In the warmer summer evenings try tempting those wary trout with one of these!
