This nymph is tied to perfection (as is usual with any of Stan's flies) - and
he's been experimenting again! This is a slightly lighter caddis imitation, but
with a twist - a lovely creamy body topped with a variety of bead and collar
colours.
A great fly to try at this time of year. Caddis larvae are found in all of our
rivers and stillwaters, with grayling and trout of all kinds gorging on them as
they become dislodged in the heavy flows and higher water. Trundle one of
these along the river bed, or suspend one under a dry fly on your favourite
Stillwater/reservoir and hang on!

Each nymph is tied with a creamy translucent body of glass beads which is
then coated with a tough resin - making these nymphs very long-lasting. These
nymphs can imitate both the caddis nymph and do a very passable impression
of a maggot!

This Caddis nymph imitation is ideally used as a point fly in any nymphing
setup (and great for sight nymphing). Don't forget about using these on
stillwaters also (over half of the UK Caddis flies are found in stillwaters). These
