It seems like we are now well on our way to Xmas - with our local Xmas tree seller doing a roaring trade from the back of his truck and all the locals out-doing each other with the lights on their houses.

We always struggle when it comes to Xmas, we don't want to do anything tacky (with a small 't'), but we do want to offer something which we think you will love, and use regularly in the new year (and beyond):

Anyone who knows me well will know I have a real weakness for chocolate (and Scott fly rods) and I really look forward to a chocolate selection box from Santa.

So this year we've thought 'inside the box' so to speak - and created, with the help of Jeff Jones (the Welsh Wooden Fly Box Maestro), an Xmas Selection (fly) Box of goodies - with a twist.

What's the twist I hear you ask?

Well, we're not going to tell you exactly which flies are inside each box - everyone likes a nice surprise for Xmas! Yes, you are putting your full trust in us to supply you with a surprise for you (or your fishing loved one) to open on Xmas morning.

All we will tell you is that each of our Xmas Selection (fly) Boxes includes:

• A Hand-Made, in Wales, by Jeff Jones, wooden fly box (in either Teak or Walnut)
• A selection of either 30 or 40 of our best specialist River or Stillwater Artisan fly patterns (depending on fly box size)

We've separate selection (fly) boxes for both Rivers & Stillwaters - just choose which one you would like on the product page of our website, and then choose the size of box, either 6" x 4" or 8" x 5".

We only have a limited number of our Barbless Flies & Jeff Jones's Xmas Selection (fly) Boxes - 8 of each size to be precise, so if our previous offerings are anything to go by, you will need to be pretty quick off the mark!

Our Xmas Selection (fly) Boxes are stuffed full of either 30 or 40 of our best Artisan flies and are available for Rivers or Stillwaters and in two different sizes - either 6" x 4" or 8" x 5".

As you can imagine, quality of this kind does come at a price - £89.95 for the 6" x 4" boxed selection of 30 flies and £109.95 for the 8" x 5" boxed selection of 40 Artisan flies - each selection will be shipped to you 1st Class Tracked - free of charge (just choose the free delivery option at the checkout and we will do the rest).

Xmas Delivery Update

We are receiving more and more phone calls from customers asking when their order will be delivered. Royal Mail is advising us that for our free service, we should make customers aware that orders can take between 5 and 7 working days to arrive, which is one of the reasons we have now negotiated a better deal for our 1st Class Tracked service, it's now only £1.95 and will be with you within 2 days.

Just as a quick reminder, we've been given the dates below as the 'last posting dates for Xmas':

Tuesday 16 December	FREE Delivery Service (2nd Class)	FREE
Friday 19 December	1st Class Tracked	only £1.95
Monday 22 December	Special Delivery Guaranteed	only £6.99

This means that if you want to receive your order before Xmas using our FREE delivery service, then you need to make your order before 1pm on Tuesday the 16th.
