If you want to get ahead, get a hat.

Morning,
It's still a little chilly (and damp) out there, I'm hoping this email will give you a niec warm feeling. But first ...
I'd like to thank all of you who bought one of our Hoodies (or Sweatshirts) earlier this month (they're available here) - it really does mean a lot to us, especially at this time of year.
You know the old saying:
"If you want to get ahead, get a hat"
Well, I've always thought it was decent advice. Though I suspect whoever coined it wasn't thinking about the temperatures we experience when fishing up here in North Yorkshire.
Early February morning at the reservoir? Brass monkeys. Your breath's freezing, your fingers are numb, and you're contemplating calling it a day.
April evening rise? Still bloody cold once the sun drops, but now you'd look daft in full winter gear.
Introducing: The Barbless. 'Fish Art' Beanie - plus, a Very Special Launch Offer for our email community, yes - that's you ...
OR
I've been banging on about our 'Fish Art' t-shirts, hoodies and fly boxes for a while now (and thank you, they've gone down a storm). But I kept coming back to the same problem: my head was either too cold or I looked like I was dressed for an Arctic expedition.
Turns out a decent beanie solves both problems.
Our new barbless. beanies are that perfect weight, warm enough for a February dawn session, but not so heavy you're sweating like a navvy when the March sun finally appears.
They work brilliantly now through winter, then straight into those deceptively chilly spring evenings when the olives are hatching, and you're staying out later than you planned.
Same Brown Trout Flank 'Fish Art' design as the rest of the range, except this time they're embroidered.
Subtle enough to wear anywhere, distinctive enough that people notice.

Each of our new Beanies are the very best we could buy, they are made from a soft-touch acrylic - perfect to keep your head warm - and a warm head allows you to stay on the water longer (just like some Merino wool socks - these are lifesavers when wading for Grayling).
Our beanies are thick, soft and beautifully structured - the exact opposite of those flimsy, fast-fashion blanks most fishing brands use.
A Quick Note On Our Clothing Dispatch Times:
Because everything is made up to order, there may be a slight delay before dispatch.
But trust us, when you open the parcel, you’ll see (and feel) why it was worth the wait.
I've been wearing my beanie since late December (rigorous product testing, obviously). I'm still wearing it now that the days are getting a little longer. Turns out a comfortable head makes for better decision-making, full stop.
Our 'Fish Art' beanies are available now on a limited initial run - because I'm cautious like that!
If you want to get ahead - winter, spring, or whenever - you know what to do.
Our NEW 'Fish Art' Silicone Fly Boxes - NEW DESIGNS
We've had our artist guy over in the USA (Ryan) on the tools brushes again, this time he's come up with some stunning artwork, which we just had to adorn our NEW fly boxes with - they look (and feel) absolutely stunning and are still mega-slim!
He's penned (or brushed) three separate designs for us:
We've applied Ryan's works of art to our NEW fly boxes. These lightweight triangular-slit silicone fly boxes are ideal to carry all the flies you want for a day on the water. With their super slimline design (only 15mm deep), they will easily fit into a chest or vest pocket.
SPECIAL LAUNCH OFFER: Buy any 2 'Fish Art' Fly Boxes for £45 or any 3 for £60, just add them to your basket, and the discounts are all automatically applied.
Each fly box holds up to 93 flies - Perfect for a full day on the water
Go on, what are you waiting for, buy one and fill it up with our flies!

Printed In-House, One at a Time
We’ve invested in high-end printing equipment and we’re doing every beanie ourselves, by hand, here in North Yorkshire.
This means two things:
- A slight delay in dispatch (because every beanie is made up to order - see below)
- You’ll receive something of far higher quality than anything mass-produced
Crisper detail. Better colour. Longer life. Worth the wait.
Tight lines & Keep Warm.

P.S. I know that I will receive loads of emails asking for baseball-style caps - I'm on the case, we've just invested in a dedicated press and Jack is running through some trials to make sure we've got the process correct before I officially launch them! Watch this space ...
