Grayling are easy to find and surprisingly easy to miss. They sit tight to the bottom in the same few seams, and the flies that get down there, stay there and still look edible are the ones that catch them. I got tired of carrying six half-empty boxes in November, so I put the lot into one selection.
Between them, they cover most of what a grayling deep, fast-flowing river can throw at you, from the Derwent to the Wharfe and anywhere else with a decent gravel run.
