Three of each, all tied on size 14 jig hooks, built to get down fast and fish deep.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Depth Charge Jig is a small, heavy nymph for fishing close to the bottom. A heavy(ish) bead takes it down quickly, even in the deeper runs. The size 14 jig hook rides point-up, so it works through rocks and snags that would hold a standard hook.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe body is a sparkly, buggy dubbing under a translucent shellback, with a dark collar swept back from the bead. It’s slim enough to look like food and heavy enough to get to where the fish are.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFish it Euro-style on a tight line or as the point fly under an indicator. It works for trout and grayling, in water from shallow riffles to deep runs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat’s in the selection\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003ePink\u003c\/strong\u003e - A grayling favourite. Suggests a small olive nymph or caddis larva, and it’s a good choice in clear, low water.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eRust\u003c\/strong\u003e - An orange-brown body with a rusty shellback. Suits autumn and stained water, and could pass for a stonefly or caddis pupa.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eCahill\u003c\/strong\u003e - A pale cream and ginger body with a golden back.
