Here's what is included:
Summer Nymphs
These flies are all tied with peacock herl bodies using small tungsten beads in copper, black, white and silver. We have had some fantastic success with these during these summer months, especially in the smaller sizes. These nymphs have been tied specifically for use in both gin clear and murkier waters and have proved themselves successful in both. Designed to catch fish, not fishermen!
Specialist 'Euro Nymph' Fly Line:
These lines have been designed to be used specifically when Euro Nymphing using lightweight rods which are over 9ft in length, but we have found they work equally as well with shorter rods when nymphing on those really hard to get at areas! We believe that there are no other lines like these on the market.
Please Note: This is a level line and does not have an AFTM weight rating, it will cast and load on a 1wt or 2wt rod (but they are not designed to be cast as you would a regular fly line), they are designed specifically for short-range nymphing techniques.
Tacky Fly Dock:
The ideal quick-access pad for flies of any size, from tiny midges to extra large streamers. Store, protect, and organize your flies on any hard surface with a durable, recycled polycarbonate component base and the supplied 3M™ Adhesive Strip. The included, adhesive-backed Velcro® strip can also be attached (adhesive to adhesive).
Vision Extreme+ Fluorocarbon Coated Tippet:
Extreme tippet material has been in Visions repertoire for ages as there is always a need for slightly stiffer tippet, especially when nymphing. However, this year its been improved to meet modern standards regarding material and manufacturing processes. Hence, we are proud to include the new Extreme+ tippet material, which is even better than the legendary Extreme.
RIO Kahuna Strike Indicator System:
RIO’S KAHUNA LT is an ingenious and subtle strike indicator made of a piece of high floating fly line with the core removed from the middle, leaving an empty tunnel. Simply break off the required length of indicator and thread the leader through the tunnel. Each packet contains a simple wire threader to make this easier. The end result is an incredibly sensitive strike indicator that grips on to a tapered leader and stays in place without any damage to the leader. Each packet contains 3, 1ft length of Kahuna LT in Chartreuse, Orange and White. You can use a waterproof marker to colour the white indicator to any colour you like.
2mm Tippet Rings:
Tippet rings make attaching tippet or leaders quicker and easier enabling you to switch out and change without cutting into your existing leader. They are small metal rings made of stainless steel. Simply tie one to your butt section and tie your tippet to the ring. Black nickel finish for low visibility. We are supplying 10 per pack, threaded onto a snap swivel for convenience.
