These Bomber Worms have been tied for us by Stan, he really has hit the mark with these, especially for this time of year. Tied to imitate a worm (in all sorts of different colour variations) it fishes incredibly well in coloured and higher water. Even though the fly has a slim profile, it is still quite heavy.
The weight of a single fly is: 0.21g
These flies (like most worm patterns) are most effective in high water (or after a flood/rise in water) when the level is going down and clearing, they usually attract the bigger fish when used in this bigger size.
Where these patterns really come into their own is in smaller rivers with high soil banks where real worms are washed from banks. Use this bigger size as a point fly in the deeper holes, or as a dropper with a large 4mm beaded fly on the point if the water is exceptionally deep or fast flowing.
The blank saver - Very often used in competitions whenever the conditions are less than optimal and is often a blank saving fly!
These flies are only available individually in size 10. Just choose your colour, and click on "add to cart", you can adjust the quantities in your cart.
