We bring these Micro Nymphs to you courtesy of Polish Quills. We asked Wojtek if he had anything which would tempt Grayling, also something that would be very small and moved easily by the current - this is what arrived. It's a micro nymph (size 20 hook) with coloured tungsten bead head.
Micro Nymphs are tiny, realistic and heavy nymphs (for their size) designed to target educated fish feeding on or near the bottom. Their very small size and high density allows them to drift close from the bottom in deep pools where educated fish are feeding. However, we have also found they are fantastic when Euro-Nymphing in the shallow, faster riffles.
