French Hare's Ear Tungsten Nymphs
The Hare's Ear Nymph is a generic nymph in that it represents many mayfly and caddis nymphs and is often used as a searching pattern. Its shaggy appearance resembles many species of nymphs when they shed their skins or shucks as they progress into the next stage of their life. These nymphs have been especially tied for us in France (where they know a thing or two about nymphs).
These nymphs are all tied with a hare's ear body which is then double wrapped with copper wire. To top them off there is a sparkle collar and a 3mm coloured tungsten bead.
The bead colours are best used in these conditions:
Black: Great in clear streams for trout.
Purple: The best Grayling nymph I have found!
White: One of the best colours for trout on highly pressured water.
Gold: Use in a cloudy or stained river.
These flies are only available individually and only in size 14. Just click on "add to cart" and then adjust the quantity in your cart.
