The barbless Cruncher Selection. A generic all-around pattern for use with Stillwater trout. This fly can represent olive nymphs or Corixa, and can be used at any position on your leader (both as a dropper or the point fly). Can also be deadly fished under/behind a blob or bob pattern. Use the holographic versions for rainbows, the darker colours have also proved good brown trout catchers.
These flies are a great all-season fly for Stillwater rainbow & brown trout. In total there are 16 flies supplied in our eco-friendly packaging. All of these flies are hand tied using barbless hooks, in sizes 12 and 16 using quality materials. Descriptions and photos of the flies can be found below:
Red Holographic Cruncher. The classic cruncher pattern tied with a pheasant tail & red tinsel body with holographic cheeks. These are an essential fly in your armoury for Stillwater rainbow trout. This selection contains two each of sizes 12 & 16.
Orange Holographic Cruncher. The classic cruncher pattern tied with a pheasant tail body and holographic orange cheeks. Another essential fly in your armoury for Stillwater rainbow trout. This selection contains two each of sizes 12 & 16.
Silver Holographic Cruncher. The classic cruncher pattern tied with a pheasant tail body and holographic silver cheeks. Another essential fly in your armoury for Stillwater rainbow trout. This selection contains two each of sizes 12 & 16.
Olive Cruncher. The classic cruncher pattern tied with a darker pheasant tail body with olive hackle and cheeks. Another essential fly in your armoury for Stillwater rainbow trout. This selection contains two each of sizes 12 & 16.
